Mommy Monday

Sorry there was no mommy monday yesterday b/c of the labor pains I was having. So for today I am just saying that I have been having contractions every 10 min but they have stayed the same since yesterday at 4:29 p.m. This is early labor and they said at urgent care that this stage can last a few fours up to a few days! UGH! Last week the contractions lasted every 30 min every day but now they are stronger and lasting 10 min. I am dilated to a 4 but unless contractions don't get any closer they will not keep me at the hospital.

I didn't even get to see my midwife last night or I would have asked her to sweep my membranes or even pop them so we could have gotten things moving. Please just pray that I don't get too exhausted or that the pain I am having in my pelvis lightens up. That was another reason I went to the hospital last night. The pressure I have been having on my pelvis every time I would have a contraction. Oh and I also had a migraine headache! They gave me a pain pill and after that I didn't care about anything! I slept so hard last night that I would wake up from a contraction and then went right back to sleep!

One thing I am doing to help things is I have been taking evening primrose oil pills. That helps you dilate so I am hoping that by me taking those it is helping. I have drank the red raspberry tea but I have not noticed my contractions getting any stronger from drinking it. But I will keep up the schedule of the pills. Hopefully there will be a baby soon! I think this has been the hardest labor so far! Only thing is that I have never experienced labor that has lasted this long. But hey usually I am induced.
