This was our field trip to the grateful bean. It's the oldest ice cream shop in Okc.

My friends Cheryl and Caren.

Waiting patiently for the field trip to start. My friend Melissa K .

Lisa Beth and Emily. Beth and Emily coordinate all the field trips. They are a couple of great gals!

Chattin while the kids get to witness the ice cream being made.

There almost wasn't enough room in there for all of us qf families! Well not all are qf but those of us that are,LOL, we took up all of the space. There was two guys that came in and looked at all of us then walked right back out. Someone had to run out to explain to them that we were just having a field trip!

Cheryl, Beth, and Caren serving everyone our free ice cream.

See the guy w/the bald spot.I could almost swear that was my BIL.He looked just like him.But the guy just stared at me and then went on about his business.

The owner. He was talking about the stained glass windows.

This was in the ladies room! I just thought it was so funny and creepy all at the same time.

This is where you can watch them make the ice cream. Their ice cream was really good too. It had a nice thickness to it.

Front of the store.

Then we went around downtown okc. This is bricktown. The original streets were made of bricks. Bricktown was also a battle ground once. But not a battle ground that you might think. It was a division of the black and white communities. That was back then and now the downtown area is live w/culture and lots of places to see and things to do.
A view from my car as I was driving.

These bricks seem to be in pretty good shape for cars driving over them all of the time for yrs now.

And yes there are regular streets too!

We finally picked out a place to eat lunch! MMMM!

The canal.

Gabby just thinks it's so cool to color on the table cloth!

Trying out the oil dip!

Lip lickin good!

This was a park just behind Zios. We stayed here like an hour and a half.

The flags were a little beat up. That one was even stuck to the tree.

Zach helping Alyssa across. She felt like such a big girl.

Zach's turn!

I said smile and look at the camera not at each other! LOL!

Now that's a little better.

Peek-a-boo!

Surfin down the slide!

Whoa Zach help!

"Mommy tate a pit ur of me!"

Love this one!

Gabby's turn.

Just on the other side of the riverwalk is this little water park.

Can you see? Her pants got soaked!

A sign of fun!

Wet kids that had tons of fun!

Alex had fun too! Can you tell?!
